ClaimCalc is run by a small editorial team. We read everything that comes in, and we respond to corrections, source disputes, and substantive feedback within a few business days.
Editorial questions and corrections
For corrections to published content, disputes about a cited source, story tips, methodology questions, or partnership inquiries:
We aim to acknowledge corrections within 2 business days and to publish corrections (when warranted) within 5 business days. If a published number turns out to be wrong, we update the page, add a correction note, and update the "last verified" date.
What we can answer
- Questions about how a calculator works or what formula it uses.
- Questions about a specific source citation in our guides.
- Suggestions for new calculator types or guide topics.
- Press, podcast, and speaking inquiries.
- Reports of broken links, schema errors, or accessibility issues.
- Partnership inquiries from legal directories, plaintiff firms (for editorial citations), or research databases.
What we can't answer
- "What is my case worth?" — only an attorney evaluating your specific facts can give a meaningful answer.
- Specific legal strategy for your case.
- Whether a particular settlement offer is reasonable for your specific situation.
- Whether you should accept or reject a specific demand from an insurer.
- Anything that would constitute the unauthorized practice of law in your state.
These limitations aren't a brush-off. They're a function of what we can responsibly say without knowing your facts, without being licensed in your state, and without the attorney-client confidentiality that proper legal advice requires.

How we operate
ClaimCalc runs as a remote editorial team. The site, the calculators, and the guides are written and reviewed asynchronously by people in different time zones. The fastest way to reach an actual human is email: editor@claimcalc.app.
Response times: ~2 business days for corrections, ~5 days for substantive partnership inquiries. Press and time-sensitive requests get same-day acknowledgment when we see them.
